Mobility without borders through Denmark
The Kingdom of Denmark is one of the associated states which levy a heavy goods vehicle fee for vehicles ≥ 12 t on all motorways and expressways. This toll obligation is fulfilled by booking the electronic Eurovignette.
Denmark, Sweden, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands have agreed on a uniform toll collection that allows a road use permit purchased in a single country to be valid and thus used in all the remaining countries for the selected period.
In addition to the road toll for heavy goods traffic, Denmark levies tolls for special sections and traffic structures such as the domestic Great Belt Fixed Link and the Øresund Bridge to Sweden. The charges for these bridges are not included in the cost of the Eurovignette.
With the EasyGo cross-border toll service, drivers of vehicles subject to tolls have the option to settle various additional charges beyond the Danish borders using only a single on-board unit! Controls
Whether or not a Eurovignette is saved in the system for a particular vehicle is checked by mobile cameras and mobile inspectors.
In case of violations, a penalty notice is issued. In the event of checks, a fine is usually imposed and demanded on the spot for foreign HGVs.

Tax refunds in Denmark
We'll provide you with information about potential tax advantages.
Business owners can get VAT collected on Danish tolls refunded. Unlike the HGV toll, bridge charges are subject to VAT. The VAT rate is currently 25% and is refundable. If your drivers have paid for truck parks, that might be eligible for a tax refund, too.
Through a power of attorney, our service provider can organise reimbursements for all taxable or reimbursable items and thus save you potential language barrier challenges when corresponding with the Danish authorities. You don't need to do anything and can simply look forward to a credit note!
